Watersheds
The earlier editions of the book of trails were organized loosely by river watershed. With all the trails added to this edition, we didn’t think that worked as well anymore. For the traditionalists, here’s the old way of grouping the trails.
Most of the town flows into the Saugatuck River, the exception being sections near Georgetown (and part of the Scott Preserve), which flow into the Norwalk River. The Aspetuck River and Little River are tributaries to the Saugatuck River south of town. ❧
